  2. They were always like that. Carlin said it 34 years ago in his 1990 special with the "think how stupid the average person is" joke, and other social commentators like Mark Twain have commented on stupid people in prior eras.

  8. I'd say we need to update the requirements and disqualifiers for who gets to run for the office of President of the United States. Even just add no adjudicated sexual predators and convicted felons. It won't catch all the baddies but it would be a good start.
