  3. I have had all kinds of crazy dreams - that's the multiverse for ya. Just had a very vivid one the other night that's still mostly with me involving events with interstellar ships and their support craft along with some time on a couple of advanced tech-level planets. Nothing all that interesting, just traveling and some mundane interactions but that's how things usually go. Was that all just my dream-time imagination or did I lock-on and ride someone else's experiences for a bit? I don't know, but the memories feel real enough and I'm carrying them around in my waking consciousness so I don't know or honestly even care. I'm not trying to convince anyone they are real, make a buck or gain anything, or even share them with anyone other than in this comment. It makes life interesting and that's good enough for me.

  15. That's not how that works. They don't get "a check" for every COVID vaccine administration. Do doctors receive payments by insurance companies and state and federal medicare/medicaid reimbursement agencies when they administer a COVID vaccine? Sure. Just like they do when they administer a tetanus shot and other vaccines and drugs and when they treat all kinds of other injuries and diseases. That's how doctors and hospitals are able to provide health care in the US. Even non-profit hospitals need money to stay open and treat sick people.

  38. For some this might be an interesting thought experiment but for me Heaven and Hell don't make sense. If God is the being it has to be then God doesn't make mistakes and every one of us are here to live the lives that help enact God's plan. As such, the only thing that makes sense is that we come from and return to the same non-corporeal state when we are not living these lives. Whether that is something or nothing I don't know, but it also doesn't really matter. Now, if it does matter then I'm going to be rightly upset with whatever higher being is or beings are in charge of that afterlife as there's no universal understanding of what that afterlife is or what any of this nonsense is all about. If there is something more and it all matters on an eternal scale then any just, kind and loving God can't be so damned mysterious about it all. And if God isn't just, kind and loving then we're already hosed and I can't believe that is the case. And no, I mostly don't believe in free will -- mostly.

It's probably some mixed-form being projected to the deep-space structure that was described that can be used as a power source for running machines and other devices, some that is used as a channel for extra/hyper-dimensional and/or temporal communication and travel, and there could be other varieties that are used as a means of sustenance or revitalization.
