  1. That's not how that works. They don't get "a check" for every COVID vaccine administration. Do doctors receive payments by insurance companies and state and federal medicare/medicaid reimbursement agencies when they administer a COVID vaccine? Sure. Just like they do when they administer a tetanus shot and other vaccines and drugs and when they treat all kinds of other injuries and diseases. That's how doctors and hospitals are able to provide health care in the US. Even non-profit hospitals need money to stay open and treat sick people.
