  1. This is one more sign of what happens in a failing empire. The US had a short yet phenomenally good run ruling on the world stage, but our time of being the "greatest nation the world has ever known", the last superpower, and the world's police force and problem solver is drawing to a close. We flew to high to fast and now the crash is playing out around us. Never should have invaded Afghanistan and Iraq after 9/11 - graveyard of empires and all that. People never learn and just keep making the same mistakes - history rhyming ... and all that. Enjoy the ride!

  2. If a dog is in public it should be socialized enough to not bite someone for petting it. Walmart is to blame here too, but the main problem is with the guy who owns the dog. Don't blame the victim.
