  1. David Brooks is one of the best of the conservative reporters out there. But it's a problem when any reporter equates the Democratic party from before the Civil Rights legislation with the Democratic party after the Southern Strategy response to the Civil Rights legislation. Things like that are part of the problem with being able to have trust in journalism.

  2. Brooks is good, especially for a reporter who favors the conservative side of politics, but he definitely says things that discourage trust.
