This crisis (among others) puts on full display why our healthcare system needs to be removed from the for-profit capitalist system and turned into a socialized program for all with controls on costs and nationalized and distributed production of the material and pharmaceutical resources it needs. No more CEOs and insurance companies trying to manage and profit off one of if not the most important social systems that everyone needs. Capitalism is fine for cars, computers, cheeseburgers and the toys of modern life, but not for keeping us alive.
