  2. I've known people who argue "I can't see how that would be possible" when arguing against something theoretical and I just think to myself how that's self-evidently obvious. The pride some take in putting their lack of imagination on public display is an odd thing.

  6. @ And a lack of imagination is just that - a lack of imagination. For me, I don't believe being unable (or unwilling) to consider the possibility of things that are neither fact nor reality at this point in time is something of which to be proud. Like the OP wrote, "It's amazing that we've progressed as far as we have with these people existing."
