Flint is the extreme example, but we're having problems with water quality from aging infrastructure all over the US. We've also seen contamination of local ground water due to a variety of industrial activities. There have been various articles about firefighting chemicals at airports used decades ago now contaminating local groundwater. And then there is the questions about the long term effects of fraking and the industries practice of pumping their toxic slurry back into the now fractured strata. I have a hard time believing that won't eventually seep into local aquifers, but who knows if any of us will still be around by the time that happens.

Old Bankrupt Donny - AKA Putin's Puppet. Say what you want about her, Hillary was spot on with that one. Probably why he freaked out so much at the debate - "I'm not a puppet - you're the puppet". I could practically hear the childishly petulant whine of "I'm gonna tell my daddy and he's gonna get you!".

@Whole Brain Productions - there you go. We had some work done on the water lines in our neighborhood a while back and the water coming out had huge levels of TDS for a good week after while they were flushing the lines. Who knows what was coming out of everyone's faucets? It's all fucked up, man!
