I'd also always heard to pronounced at "seek" and "seekism", and there are apparently some members of the Sikh community who do use that pronunciation. But it seems like the culturally correct pronunciation is indeed "sick" and"sickism". Live and learn.

  3.  @omarm316  Writing "people like you" when you don't know anything about them. You aren't doing your cause any favors. And before you go lumping me in with user36112 I have been a supporter Israel and I think the country both has the right to defend itself and had to respond to the atrocities of October 7 . But I also think the shock-and-awe campaign by Netanyahu and other hard-liners was the wrong choice and has put Israel in much more danger than it faced before October 7.
