  1. People have made works of art out of weapons throughout the ages - new weapon same urge. Besides, most works of art absolutely could be used to kill someone. Less so with performative art, but certainly with any art that takes up space in the world. There's not much chance of death by interpretive dance, but someone could bust off the edge of a picture frame or use a small statue and beat someone to death if they really had to.
