Where is body camera footage? This is one more example of the top down and bottom up corruption that goes on way too much in Law Enforcement. The DA and the cops all have each others back and cover each other asses.

I don't think the police should be defunded, but they should review their budgets and re-fund where and how they are allocating the budgets they have. And many departments, including this one and at least one of the officers involved in this tragically botched raid, already do have body cameras. They also need to get rid of those "bad apples" who cost them millions of dollars on lawsuit settlements for police misconduct every year. The Blue Wall needs to be torn down. I am all for for allocating additional moneys for better training and mental health support services for local police departments. But when it comes to militarization of law enforcement they are doing just fine with all the federal grant programs, municipal and county taxes, fines and forfeitures, and various law enforcement foundation and charitable groups.
