  1. @ Except that he didn't take the lot. Trump took just under half of the popular vote (49.8%) in 2024 and did even worse in both prior elections. The larger majority either voted against him by voting for Harris (48.3%) or someone else (1.9%), or didn't vote for anyone which includes Donald. And he's well below 50% in the current polls as he almost always has been. So by all measures he come up short of the majority and almost always has.
