  2. Arguing a politician didn't lie when they don't keep a campaign promise is just silly. Of course they lied. It's part and parcel of the political game; optics and glad-handing and kissing babies and saying you'll do things you'll never do unless the donors tell you to. There is an old joke - how can you tell if a politician is lying? The answer - if they are moving their lips.
