@andrewstevenson118 For me it was on MTV. I honestly don't remember the episodes very well, just how totally absurd it was. One about Vyvyan's head coming off sticks with me a bit. It's probably time for a re-watch.

As long as the definition of "responsible" you're using is the one for being capable of being trusted. Otherwise, not so much.

@kacrichton4434 We could do things that could help mitigate the damage, but that doesn't mean there isn't going to be damage. And unfortunately there doesn't seem to be the will even do the things that could help mitigate the damage.

There are a great many other proven things we could do first that might not have unforeseen side effects before we start spraying aerosolized particles in the atmosphere to block out the sun or otherwise interfere with the global climate.

@kacrichton4434 You know what else leads to disaster? That the people who need to make changes and who could do something that would make a difference are not making changes or doing things that would make a difference. If you want to call accepting the reality that we're probably facing a climate catastrophe defeatism then we're guilty of defeatism. It's not like that changes the reality of what sure seems likely is in store for the planet and the vast majority of us.

You should also mandate some kind of global population control for a generation or two, my liege. There are way too many people using way too many resources.
