There's a strangely large number of conservatives in these comments who come here just to hate on JOB, Labour, and anything Liberal or Progressive. It's really sad.

He didn't know what he was doing the first time and surrounded himself with people who often kept him from doing the things he really wanted to do. Neither of those things will be the case in a second Trump term. It will be a very different experience.

@SandeepMann-d1v It's not about the country but the person trying to lead he country. If that person is Donald Trump or someone like Donald Trump than no because the only thing they want to make great is themselves.

Precisely! I've commented a number of times that even after Trump is done running (hopefully after this election) we're still going to be dealing with the MAGA politicians for years or even decades to come. I've heard a few people compare Trump to Yeltsin in that similar sense of who came after Yeltsin and how we should be more concerned about who comes after Trump. The MAGA voters are primed and ready for it.

Luckily (most of) the rest of us do. What concerns me is what MAGA politicians in the House and the Senate will try to pull if/when Trump looses.

@Mattblack-y4x I've never understood the need some people have who seek out people they disagree with just so they can be disagreeable about how much they disagree with them. It's even worse when it's online and they know there aren't really any consequences for doing it. Footballification is one thing - that's pathologic.

@charisma-hornum-fries OP isn't saying they are going to vote for him but they are more afraid of what happens if/when Trump looses then what happens if he wins. And I'm pretty sure there's some sarcasm in their comment as those of us who are voting for Harris/Walz are very much afraid of what a second Trump term would look like with his weird VP and the creepy enablers like Elon Musk and those Project 2025 people being put in positions of power.

@Bushwacker-mb6hw Yes, sadly Trump won, but not by a landslide and certainly not with a mandate. He sure didn't have a 1984 Reaganesque Electoral College victory, did he? And that margin of victory is shrinking every day as more and more votes are counted. Funny how you all stopped with the "it's going to be rigged and stolen" nonsense as soon as old Bankrupt Donny won. Typical. And now we get to see his clown show cabinet picks to run things. RFK Jr, Gaetz, Tulsi, Hegseth, Elon, Doctor Oz. It's like one big troll by Trump - it would be funny if it wasn't such a seriously awful bunch of unqualified enablers. Trump inherited the Obama economy and it was already going downhill when COVID tanked things. The border wasn't solid or else he wouldn't have separated all those families and locked up all those kids who came across the southern boarder. I could list all of the failures of the Trump administration and the accomplishments of the Biden administration but I doubt any of that would matter to you.
