  1. Greed and social control - Andrew Mellon and DuPont Chemicals, William Randolph Hearst, and Harry Anslinger are the reasons why marijuana and hemp started being criminalized back in the 1930's. Almost a hundred years later and we're finally starting to end this stupid and failed war on weed.

  2. Hemp can save the world! Not all by itself obviously, but it's potentially a huge piece of the puzzle. And we can also grow hemp on land that isn't suitable for food crops which opens up new economic opportunities for landowners in a wider area of the world. Heck, you could grow a crop on a sturdy enough roof.
