  1. Been legal in Colorado for years now and the state seems to be doing just fine. Obviously little kids and even teenagers shouldn't be smoking or taking edibles, but they shouldn't be using tobacco or drinking alcohol or taking other harmful substances. Kids have been raiding the liquor cabinets and stealing smokes and pills from their parents for decades and that's always going to happen - shouldn't be reason adults should be prohibited from them. Being an adult sucks and we need all the help we can get. Legalizing marijuana has taken money away from the cartels and other criminals and put into legitimate businesses and generated huge amounts of state and local tax revenue. Once it's off the schedule one list we'll be able to more research and help figure out the benefits and negatives and which people need to be extra careful about using it or who should avoid it entirely. Now let's get our shit together and legalize other plant psychedelics like mushrooms, peyote, ayahuasca, and ibogaine. Even raw coca leaves aren't a big deal. People need to stop the twentieth century freak out about people doing what they've done with these plants for thousands of years.
