This isn't to say that the Russian meddling element and Bankrupt Donny being Putin's Puppet aren't still important, it's just that the Trump administration is doing so much other shady and corrupt shit that it's these things that might actually help bring out the people who stayed home or didn't vote for either of the two main candidates in the '16 election.If you give a shit about Russia, you probably didn't vote for him in the first place and won't be doing so next time - because he isn't going to be impeached. Even if it was done purely for some cathartic purpose, it would be too much of an affront to his hardcore base and that would be dumb and dangerous. Kind of like trying to repeal the Second Amendment - democrats are not going to do that because they don't want to be responsible for starting the next civil war.
