When old Bankrupt Donny is gone (fingers-crossed) the US will resume it's place on the global political stage, but even so China could still totally drink our milkshake during the 21st century. Then again, China could piss off its neighbors or implode and fall back in in on itself like it has in the past. China is to the Orient is a lot like Iran is to the Middle East - no ones friend and trusted only to be untrustworthy. Compare the undocumented immigration into the US with the documented immigration to China and the numbers speak volumes.

Believing nothing in the news is not a good idea - just be selective about your news source. If you've been watching Fox then it's probably a good idea not to believe those idiots - MSNBC isn't much better. But there is plenty of independent media and news you can believe in - just take it all with a grain of salt and maybe find a second source to confirm or clarify what you heard.

@tinasmith1391 Kyle is, Democracy now is, The Real News Network is. Hell, even NPR and PBS are pretty good. Just stay away from cable TV.
