  1. This feels a lot like a "I'm shocked - SHOCKED - to find gambling going on here" kind of a thing. The people at the top of the food chain have always seen the people under them as a resource to used to meet their ends. We very much are stock to be managed by the Owners and have been for as long as we've had stratified societies.
