It seems like the pay-for-it part was being a bit smoothed over. I don't see the price of anything going down and we all still have to figure out how to pay the bills. I'm not at all sure about the whole two-generation rebuilding of the US by people assertion. Automation and machine intelligence is going to eliminate a lot of the jobs that people perform. Unless there is some kind of alternative wage or way to provide for even just the basics of a modern life (shelter, food, clothing, security, etc.) then we're looking at something very dystopian in the future. We're in for an interesting ride no matter which way things shake out. Luck to us all!
