  1. Fuck this guy. The Samoa example was pathetic and Joe just let it slide right by which is weird because he called bullshit on Singapore but then he just ignored this crap. Any isolated location with a mono-economy is just asking for trouble. Hawaii would be in big trouble if tourists stopped going there. I'm wondering what the poverty rate was in Samoa when they had no minimum wage. And I get that it doesn't matter if they can make more money after the minimum wage because the canning jobs are gone, but then maybe they should work with people to develop new and more diverse jobs to replace the shitty paying canning jobs.
