  3. Ignoring the elephant on the room? I'm absolutely not saying it's a thing of the past or that problems of racism don't still exist, but we've been talking about racism in this country for over 70 years and trying to address at least some of the race issues since the late 60's. Just like there will probably always going to be a split between liberal people and conservative people, there are always going to bigots in the world that people like Trump and his ilk will be able to activate.
