Getting someone to give a cop their ID is a pure power play that tells them if the person is going to be a cooperative sheep or a trouble maker.

@Pigpress I prefer lamb with a bit of mint jelly if they have any. But I like piggies even more. Bacon, pork cops, ham, shredded pork anything - tasty tasty!

@davidmichaud1029 I was going to join the Navy but I couldn't pass the test. Trouble makers is their way of dehumanizing us stupid civilians who wont comply with their orders. The vast majority of "we the people", including myself, hand over our ID without hesitation or a single thought when the police ask for it because we don't want trouble with them. A smart trouble maker is a little lamb when the master's dog has us by the scruff so that it will let us go and we can get back to making some good trouble when it chases after someone else. There's probably some Airborne saying about picking your fights instead letting a fight pick you, right? Glad you made it home, soldier.

@derikroy5 I actually thought about putting quotation marks around both terms but decided against it figuring most people would understand what I was trying to say without them. And I'd probably have someone telling me I was using quotation marks incorrectly if I did use them, so I was going to run into problems either way using figurative language like that. To quote the first U.S. president to ever face criminal charges "It is what it is".✌🖖
