Comments by "Orwellian Horseman of the Apocalypse" (@DennisMoore664) on "Proud Boys run wild while police stand by (again)" video.
Many of the police are Proud Boys or at least identify with and/or support their far-right, neo-fascist ideology. There's a reason they are cops and not EMT's or care givers. They're the same kind of authoritarian losers who join the military instead of the Peace Corps.

The Klan were made up of Conservative Democrats and Republicans before LBJ signed the Civil Rights act of 1968 and the Southern Strategy eliminated those Democrats and turned the Klan deep Red. You make the same mistake the right wing trolls always make - you ignore history.

<sarcasm>Gee, I wonder why?</sarcasm> You expect the mouthpieces of oligarchy to do anything but reinforce propaganda? Come on now.

@DoritoSammich One Democrat signed the Bill - the President, Lyndon B Johnson. The correct question would be how many progressive or liberal politicians of either party voted for the Civil Rights act of 1968 (which expanded on the 1964 bill of the same name and other legislation prior to that). The numbers are 327–93 (166 Democrats and 161 Republicans) in the House and 71–20 (42 Democrats and 29 Republicans) in the Senate. Anyone who didn't vote for the bill was probably a conservative politician and today would part of the Republican - or more appropriately Trumpublican party.

@justice_was_taken Unfortunately both George and the nitwit troll I was playing with share our planet and probably even live in the U.S. But it's pretty clear that they either came from dumbfucksylvania or possibly headuphisassistan. Hell, they might even have dual citizenship in both. If George had any clue he'd delete this entire post and save himself further humiliation, but you know he won't because he thinks he's sticking it to the libs.

@georgeramirezjr1111 - You are correct in that Byrd was a member of the KKK in the early 1940s and even tried to stand in the way of the civil rights legislation during the 1960's. But he later renounced his affiliation with the hate group. He called his KKK affiliation “an extraordinarily foolish mistake” in his autobiography. When Byrd died in 2010, the civil rights organization, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, praised him for his capacity to change. Maybe some day you too will renounce your extraordinarily foolish mistakes. Stop hitting yourself, Junior. You are just making yourself look stupid and ignorant.
