  1.  @anamerican8399  Certainly not the same, but current global events make me feel like we're doing the 20th century over again in many ways both here and and internationally. We've only got a few more years to make better choices because the 30's and 40's damn near did in the world back then and they didn't have anywhere near the technological ability to set the world on fire that we do today.

  3.  @margieeades8964  Nobody knows if a life-altering emergency or tragedy is going to happen to them at some time in the future. What someone can afford to do at one point might not be what they can afford to do at a later point.

  4. By that logic nobody should ever own any pet because no one can predict the future and what kind of economic problems they might face while owning that pet.
