A UBI (or guaranteed income) won't go as far in a big city economy, but it could allow people to relocate to smaller towns and depressed rural areas where the cost of living is much less and be able to bring wealth and diversity back into those communities. This would be even more possible if several people wanted to join together to then start a small business or form a small farming co-op. I'm going to keep pushing the idea of repopulating the largely abandoned parts of the country until Mr Reich and the rest of y'all get on board my idea of a Relocation Revolution! Come on, Robert - work with me, brother!
