Old Bankrupt Donny ran as an anti-establishment populist outsider but on the conservative nationalist side as opposed to the liberal progressive Bernie side. But he was always part of the establishment contributing to the candidates of both parties to make sure his needs and agenda was being taken care of. Once he was in office he became exactly what the RNC needed him to be. Hillary would have been the same and Biden will be as well (why Bernie won't be his VP). DNC/RNC are just the two sides of the same establishment coin with a few social differences around the ideological fringe. The core mission of the military industrial complex and financial system dominance that run our system of governance remain the same.

@LazyIRanch Total agreement accept that I think that 30% number is higher. Maybe 30% believe the lies fully and another 30% (or even a bit more) are still buying in to the establishment narrative to one degree or another to maintain their lifestyles and keep buying the toys. The status quo is a hard habit to kick, especially with the amazing job the advertisers do. Hell, even knowing what a load of BS the whole thing is I bite down hard and go along to get a long - at least in some ways.
