  2. More and more I believe the anonymity of the Internet is it's great failing. We'd all probably be at least a bit more polite to each other if we knew who and where everyone was.

  3. After applying critical thinking to the subject you absolutely should be both critical and complimentary of issues or people regardless of, at times in spite of, public pressure. Neither the momentary whims nor the shared buy-in of the masses are usually right about a lot of things.

  4. Do the show you want to do, David. If people don't agree with you that's life. I appreciate that you want to deliver content the audience wants hear and stick to subjects of commonality, but you're always going to say something that someone will disagree with. Even if they agree with you mostly, they'll dig out the small detail they don't and have at it over that. Sadly, the hate mail you get probably isn't any worse than plenty of reporters in the MSM get every day. It comes with the territory of expressing your opinions to a wide audience, sir. You want safe - well, safer? Get out of the public spotlight. - but safe is boring. You keep doing what you love and the rest of the world can come along or get the hell off.
