The only winner is the Oligarchy - some things never change (except maybe the branding).

Staus Quo Joe? Have you seen his record? The only thing you can count on is that he'll do the bidding of the oligarch and corporate donors. If Harris has to take over she'll fall in line too.

@srgreeniii You're dreaming. Nothing that severe is going to happen and either old Bankrupt Donny, or someone worse, will be running in 2024 and may very well win - especially if there is a strong progressive candidate runnign as a third party candidate and does to the Dems what Ross Perot did to the Republicans in 1992. Perot may not have won anything in the electoral college, but he won something around 19% of the popular vote and definitly put Bush Sr's failings on full display and syphoned away enough support and votes to help ensure the Clinton victory. A third party real Progressive could easily do the same to a neo-liberal Biden or Harris running in 2024. This will be even more likely if the Senate stays Republican and McConnell shuts Biden (or Harris if/when she has to take over) down making the Dems look weak and ineffective.

Absolutely - needed to happen thirty years ago (like action on global warming), but the majority of people have always been too invested in the status quo and the two-party system. Unfortunately I don't see that changing. More likely people will just get totally turned off and not participate thus ensuring the continued rule of oligarchs and corporations as the climate gets worse. Welcome to the Cyberpunk age everyone.

@faarsight He kind of is. He's not a neo-liberal sellout, but he's still a career politician which requires someone to be at least a bit of a sellout.

Hillary and her husband took care of that all by themselves. Madeline Albright was spot on in 2016 when she said that there is a special place in hell for women who don't support eachother. Twenty-nine years ago next month Hillary said in a "60 Minutes" interview “I’m not sitting here some little woman standing by my man like Tammy Wynette.” But stand by him she did then, right through the Lewinsky scandal, and up to this day and a lot of women saw right through her BS. It's one of the reasons so many were willing to vote for a POS like old Bankrupt Donny.

@Rose Lipton I'm not sure how to explain it to make it any more clear. Maybe someone else will be able to help.

Just thought about using the wolf-in-sheep's-clothing analogy for Biden and the neo-libs and realized that the more apt comparison is to big, inner-city rats.
