This is just one more policy of the State that goes out of its way to focus it's full force and power against the weakest and most vulnerable - the powerless make the easiest targets for manifesting propaganda. We see the way our own impoverished citizens and even those who have been able to climb the ladder to the lower rungs, especially when they come from a different ethnic or national identity or stray from the norms of societal standards, are used as examples to demonstrate the authority of the state and drive the narrative of division and distraction used to keep the authoritarian status quo intact. I keep waiting for a knock on the door, but then I remember - they won't knock.

How about Climate migrants? Or US Foreign Policy migrants? How about if we just think of them as human beings - can you try that for a minute?
