  2.  @jeanwonnacott3641  In the long run the planet will be fine. It's the people and the current biosphere that are doomed, but nature abhors a vacuum so once we are gone eventually something new will take it's place. Regardless, there were too many world-ending possible ways we could destroy ourselves so I made the same choice to not have kids. When I look at the way we're still heading today I think we made the correct choice. Not having children is going to make my ability to choose my own check-out time that much easier too.
