  5. iirc, the incomputability of the sign function in R is the only thing that makes it impossible to use R on a computer ( even if you assume infinite memory ), as it's equivalent to making comparison impossible, and i think comparison always ends up being necessary to implement any mathematical operation ( although i forgot the reason. Even if that's not the case, no comparison means absolutely no algorithms )
