When you receive a criminal court date, you can either wait for that date in jail, or ( if the court decides so ) pay some amount of money to the court ( and in this case abide by additional conditions ) The court will then give the money back after the trial. Both are just ways to ensure you actually show up to court. She has not yet received any sentence ( at the time of the video )
