  2. Bones are not digestible. The component that gives them their strength does not dissolve in water and does not react with hydrochloric acid particularly well ( plus the product of that would not dissolve in water that well. I don’t understand the details fully, but they don’t matter anyway )

  3.  @s1r_m3ga84  the chicken leg does not have that many bones, and i do not see how you could eat any of them because of their size, so i don’t really understand you

  4.  @s1r_m3ga84  it’s exactly as i was suspecting: that’s not a bone… that’s either cartilage ( which can be hard, soft, yellowish white, blueish white, and anything in between; and is found at the end of a bone, or in some cases in place of a bone ) or a tendon ( which is grayish, connects bone to muscle, and can be found running parallel to a bone ). A few fish do actually have “skeletons” made completely of cartilage ( sharks, rays, skates, sawfish, chimaeras )
