  1. i don’t know what megaupload is, but it’s different when a site’s ( or software’s, or physical tool’s ) intended use is clearly illegal. And that can be argued if there is a significant amount of pirated content is present

  2. i would argue that while it’s has the potential to be much better, it also has the potential to be just as worse depending on the exact details. In this case, i still don’t think YouTube should be responsible as the algorithm is not inherently biased towards recommending the offending content.

  3.  @JK_something  This is still a gray area, so there was not necessarily any difference other than that the party suing was more powerful than the defendants.
