  1.  @SFoX-On-Air  it originally stood for “superuser do”, however now stands for “substitute user do” ( it originally only executed as root. This us the exact same thing as GCC and “GNU C Compiler” )

  3. Tbh, how often do you need to go to ~ anyway? I do not remember a single instance where i had to do that. I guess that’s why i have never seen anyone use that feature.
