Abuse has shaped the mind of the average Russian. Anyone who knows people who grew up into adults after abuse will know how these people must think to survive. Everything Russia does makes much more sense when you realize it is the mind of traumatized victims who became abusers. Those who break the cycle and escape are rare and must face a lot of hardship.
