@Prosper Meniere As a literal bridge between the east and west and with such proximity also to America Russia could have become such an economic powerhouse just based on geography. Instead they stole the money of generations of Russians and abused them. Now they have their willing pets and yachts but the dream of Russia is dead for decades.

That is a foolish opinion for einstein to have. Humans take pleasure in unity and social activities, there is nothing harmful about marching any more than coordinated dancing. I understand he means those who choose war but it is very foolish of him to despise a person for simply feeling brotherhood and belonging. A marching band does the same thing albert, they feel the same please. Do you despise them too? Sports fans? School children? How ignorant to thing anyone who can take pleasure in a social activity is automatically a willing puppet of evil actions. Of course he means he despise those who love war but what a fool to think that music and marching is how you can know who loves war. I have no doubt he took great pleasure in the comraderie activities he associated with academics. ...There are many other herd systems much more worthy of hate, no wonder I had not heard this quote from him before, it is without a doubt one of the least impressive bits of reasoning from a man famed for his reasoning. But I suppose we are all human and somewhere there must be fault in each of us.
