  4.  @Deathmastertx first, IT IS THE CHEAPEST AIRCRAFT TO FLY AND MAINTAIN BY FAR. Second and more, it has a high bypass ratio making it much cooler, it's engines are positioned to minimize infared signature. It is literally easier to hit a hot fast moved with an infared shoulder missile than it is to hit a nice cool and calm hog. And the largest mechanized army in history was taken down, twenty years passed and seven of these beasts is all that fell? All you stupid kids probably think the Sherman sucked too. Guess what, planes are going to get shot down. How many missiles are going to get to the front lines to shoot them down tactical recliner operator? The A-10 isn't designed to win in a stupid video game, this isn't a playground. This is a weapon of war and we will build these beasts and they will win the war. Just like they have been proven to over fifty years. Are you fifty? Some may die but they will take a lot more with them, they are tough, they are deadly, they are going to be bastards to any nation who ever tries to win the sky from the United States of America. We flew first, and we will be flying last. Don't buy it? Well maybe you need to look at the last 200 something years of American history. Maybe you need to take a second look at the history of air warfare. Maybe you need to stop playing idiotic video games where you unlock the best armour and are in God mode. These planes will win. They will keep winning when they are hurt. They will keep winning long after other planes fail. You don't respect them? You will should you ever face them.   6.  @IonorReasSpamGenerator  the design of the aircraft is more survivable to those kinds of weapons than any other. It's engine placement, redundancy, armour, and overall shape are what make it survivable. You are suggesting that man portable missiles are so effective as to completely eliminate aircraft as a viable weapon. You are extremely mistaken, this aircraft is still built and designed and shaped in the most optimal configuration for it's job. The idea that it no longer works because missiles have improved is based in ignorance and pushed by Russian propaganda. The hog is going no where, there is no plane flying that can take a missile hit better. Shoulder fired missiles and s-400's have not made all planes no longer effective as much as the Russians like to push the idea. Unfortunately, the verba is not some magical solution to all aircraft. It still uses direct infared ...which the shape and design of the A-10 is still effective against. And even if it shot lighting or lasers or hypersonic darts ....the shape of the A-10 makes it still the most survivable in the event of being hit by as fire. Geometry didn't change. The A-10 stays

  7.  @Deathmastertx  it inexpensive because it was designed to be. A brand new aircraft with less capabilities is not less expensive than maintaining a well designed plane. And you think that a light aircraft is going to be better on a symmetrical battlefield than an A-10? Where did your arguments go about being only capable because of a low intensity conflict? Do they give you guys a list of bullet points and you just read them off or do you get to keep the same account and actually learn about the systems you are propagandizing.
