  1. 0:44 this is a strange bit of editorializing, it was not at all concealed that the reasons for Egypt were to counter the British, it was not "under guise" as in this note. I only comment because this channel has such a high standard of historical accuracy in my mind that these kinds of misleading editorials other channels rely on should not be included.

  2. I have never seen it romanticized except by the same channels or productions that glamorize all warfare. The brutality of Napoleon's wars has never been downplayed in the books I've read and I wonder if you are seeing it as a modern history variety channel summary more than how it was seen at the time or in history since?
