@Saud K You're absolutely right. I know for a fact that Italians are the most family-oriented in Europe, and indeed we share something in common with them.

I agree from Saudi Arabia. Ignore those Saudi liberals.

As another Saudi, I agree bro

elena79rus, I’m Saudi and Exactly. You know about us very well I see

You must be blind if you didn't see any woman showing their hair in the video. Go get your eyes checked or something.

I'm glad you have a different view now.

You’re wrong. They are Saudi and they have Saudi passports

That's not accurate. The women shown are not the super rich. They're just normal middle-upper class who are hard workers. The ones who are super rich are spoiled, lazy, and do no actually work. They have drivers and housemaid to do everything for them. Speaking of struggle, this video is about Saudi women in Jeddah. Jeddah is known to be a liberal city and it's not like the other Saudi cities. Saudi Arabia is a big country with dozens of different cultures. I hope you learned something new now.

Feminists always ask more. Doesn't matter where they are from.

@azi1612 The problems are mostly related with families not the government

@dilanmian7956 Exactly.

That's not true. Many women walk without abayas in Saudi Arabia, especially in Jeddah
1
These are called abaya, and it is literally part of Arabian (Peninsula) culture, even before Islam emerged. It's a non-religious custom. Think of it how the Irish people wear kilts. Most female tourists don't even wear it when they visit the country now. Even some Saudis have decided to take it off and dress exactly like a Westerner but most decide not to because they have a sense of belonging to their country.

@patsyhodge9071 Hello Patsy. I'm a Saudi from Jeddah. Jeddah, like the rest of Saudi Arabia, is a safe place for women in general and is the most beautiful city in Saudi Arabia with the richest culture and unique identity, but since it's the most diverse and open city from immigrants of third-world countries, it comes with consequences like a tad-bit more cases of catcalling and flirting, which is the norm in any other diverse city in the world like New York or London. You should know that the government takes harassment cases very seriously that there is even a phone app that can let you report harassment cases instantly. If harassment is your concern I would still visit Jeddah because the anti-harassment laws are strict, but if you want to have a lesser chance of encountering harassment incidents I would go to Khobar or Riyadh since I can compare Jeddah to other Arab cities like Cairo or Marrakech. However, if you value your own freedom as a woman to dress and become more yourself, I would go to Jeddah. For taxis, I would recommend using Uber as it's more monitored and regulated. Local women in Jeddah are freer to dress however they want and visit anywhere without getting stared at. You're welcome to visit and I'm pretty sure you will enjoy your experience as a Kiwi no matter where you go.

@patsyhodge9071 No problem. Also, I would like to add that in Jeddah there are many beaches that allow bikinis.
1
@patsyhodge9071 Yes. Most private beaches allow bikinis. But definitely not a public one

That's not true. Most Saudis go on a free scholarship to Canada, America, and UK. So they're all educated and that's why they don't have an accent.
