For my wife, I'm getting the 2019 Lexus ES350 instead which has more luxury, no range anxiety, no fit and finish issues, better ride (not stiff like Model 3), more cabin quietness, no premium insurance for electric car, no dangerous aggressive regenerative braking, no ergonomics/safety issue of taking my eyes off the road to read the iPad to adjust climate controls, etc. And I get Apple Carplay and a sunroof.

  4. I have the 2024 Cadillac XT4 with Apple Carplay...love it! All 4 of my cars have Apple Carplay (2017 Corvette, 2024 Cadillac XT4, 2019 Toyota Camry SE, 2016 VW Jetta). The Cadillac EVs don't have Apple Carplay so it's a no sale for me.

  7. Today I test drove both the 3.0 turbo and 3.6 naturally aspirated. The turbo is the best NO turbo lag. But the turbo engine is noiser than the naturally aspirated and the shifts are not smooth as the naturally aspirated. Handling is good. Cadillac performance and comfort are better than Lexus ES and LS, on par with Mercedes E and S-classthat I test drove.

  8. lol, Mazda couldn't convince me that it's worth $35k (I said keep it if you're only going to give me $200 off) so I bought a $46k new 2017 corvette last year with 3 times the power and 10 times the exhaust note. A year later, the Mazda dealer near me had just closed up last month. Glad I didn't buy one (also due to manual transmission issues with Maza mx-5) because there isn't another Mazda dealership nearby to service it; not too many Mazda dealerships compared to Chevrolet.

  15. I test drove it a few days ago. Awesome supercharge no lag acceleration. It has a cool rearview mirror that also projects an image from the rear of the car to give a wider angle picture so there's no more blind spot. It also has cool auto parallel parking.

PRO: - I like the exterior. - Great acceleration 0-30mph CON: - The regenerative braking kicked in when I wanted to coast felt like I suddenly hit the brakes making them feel grabby - Hate the noisy engine under acceleration - Lacks power above 30mph+ - noisy CVT under acceleration (rpm revs high) - CVT requires more frequent maintenance and doesn't last as long - panormaic glass roof does not open

Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag). The Cadillac has these features that Youtubers miss: - lighted logo behind the dashboard - pulsating safety seat (most cars only beep) - left behind child in the rear seat alert - capless fuel tank (like my 2017 Corvette C7 ) - umbrella storage in the doors (like Rolls Royce) - active noise cancellation (like my 2017 Corvette C7 with Bose) - power passenger seat with lumbar - free 5G hotspot My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.

  27. Yep, my 2024 Cadillac XT4 (0-60 in 7 sec) is quicker than my 2014 Toyota Highlander (0-60 in 7.6 sec) that I traded in. XT4 also handles better too. I upgraded from a 2014 Toyota Highlander to a 2024 Cadillac XT4 this past weekend (the 2024 highlander drove the same and is pretty much the same chasis and interior so it's boring). The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel.   32. In 9/2024 I bought a new Cadillac XT4 to replace my wife's 10 year old Toyota Highlader... love the Cadillac XT4, and it has APPLE CARPLAY. Next time I upgrade my car, 2017 Corvette stickshift, it MUST HAVE APPLE CARPLAY or it's no sale (just like back in 2017 when Lexus did not have APPLE CARPLAY so it was a nosale for me).

Not only that, the slightly redesigned 2018 Mustang dashboard and dual-exhaust is coming out in October which will be an even bigger blow to the Camaro. Not to mention the 2018 Toyota Supra is coming out.

No Volume and a/c touch buttons instead of a physical knob. 12v cigarette outlet up front, only 1 in the armrest. The Venza (0-60 in 7.8 seconds) felt slower than my 2014 Highlander (0-60 in 7.2 seconds). cvt=no sale for me

  46. lol, I love the classic shifter as opposed to other manufacturers who get fancy with the automatic shifter and you have to learn where the P/R/N/D is located; Buttons in Honda are even worse because you can't shift by feel.
