The cupholder failure qualifies the Corvette as a supercar.

Nice exterior and a manual transmission....heavenly! This corolla looks way better than a civic.

I've test driven both (Tesla Model 3 awd and Jaguar iPace) and I'd take the Jaguar iPace. Better (comfortable) ride, more luxury, quietness, Apple Carplay.
15
I replaced my runflat tires for non runflat and I got so much more grip and responsiveness when accelerating, turning, and braking. Ride comfort also improved dramatically.

No sale for me. I'll pass.
6
Yep, both Tesla and NIssan have a tiny tiny font speed readout. Stupid.
3
Yep, I love the metal paddles in Mercedes the most, but I love it in any car.
3
Finally, Apple Carplay! Lexus missed out on 2 sales from me because it didn't have it. The standard speakers sound tinny.
3
Yes, more exotic comparisons of coupes with front mid-engine with rear transaxle cars. Bentley Continental versus RR Dawn versus Aston Martin versus Ferrari Portofino versus Jaguar F-Type SVR versus Corvette C7 versus Maserati GranTurismo versus Mercedes AMG GT.
3
lol, when I see a sports car with an automatic slushbox, I'm disappointed. May as well get a Tesla and let it drive you.
2
Love how you guys review fun sports cars when every other automotive journalists review boring SUVs and sedans and hatchbacks and wagons.

you missed the most important question: does the door's top smack you in the face when you open it?

.,.I love cars too and stocks are one way to make money. ,.,.AMAZON: Yep, I bought a ton on the dip. It's getting cheaper relative to its current earnings (half compared to last year). Amazon invested $14 billion in the last quarter alone, the same as it spent in 6 months before that. It is a do not sell stock. ...With the Delta virus coming at full speed ahead, pandemic sales will make a comeback. Amazon is investing so much money, that no competitor will ever be able to catch up. Amazon's not going anywhere so I know that eventually it will come back. Fidelity considers Amazon as a large growth company (probably because as big as it is, it still only has 7% of the retail market) buying via Amazon Smile donations donates some money to my favorite charity too! Get on board or be runover, it's up to you.

Love a sunroof. Too bad many American muscle/sports cars don't come with a sunroof when they're equipped with a manual transmission. In 2017, I had such a hard time finding a Camaro with sunroof and manual transmission that I just bought a Corvette which comes with a targa top.
2
Several months ago I unsubscribed due to too many boring mommy suvs and sedan dad cars. I see that you've returned to making fun and sexy sports cars and exotic cars so I've resubscribed.

CON: I test drove Lexus RC350 F Sport version last weekend for my wife but I was not impressed (she currently has the 2014 Toyota Highlander XLE). Toyota is not the best in either luxury or performance. For luxury, the Mercedes blows it away. For performance, the Corvette blows it away. No Apple Carplay. Timid exhaust. Didn't like the annoying lane changing stick behavior. Carbon fiber interior looked like a cheap wrap. It's a small engine so you have to rev it up beyond 4000rpm to feel any power. PRO: better headroom in the rear seats than the Lexus LC500 (unusable).

Nice exhaust note, fenders and interior. But front is miata ugly, and rear is volvo ugly. Missing a sunroof. Aston Martin should have made it look like the DB10 but instead fucked up a good thing. I like the Ferrari Portofino more than this ugly duckling, plus Ferrari has open air for more fun, but it costs more.
2
And the Jaguar F-type has a sunroof with a much lower price tag of $65k-$130k for the F-type SVR.

Acura's LED headlights shine all over the place on the road blinding other drivers and should be banned!
2
Those headlights look like droopy eyes like the actor who plays igor.
2
700hp is fine in a stickshift because the 2018 Corvette ZR1 has it and that's 750hp and goes 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds (same as Porsche 911 GT2RS) with just RWD. https://www.motor1.com/news/239334/corvette-zr1-porsche-gt3-nurburgring/

I test drove this a month ago, terrible turbo lag felt like 1 second.
2
39mpg is all it gets on the freeway, that's it? That's not very good considering my 2017 Corvette gets 36mpg on the freeway in v4 mode at 3.1 litres that can snap into v8 6.2 litres 465hp instantly.
2
It's a SEDAN, NOT a coupe!
2
Based on looks, it's a supercar pass (but not in that boring asphalt gray)
2
To feel like you're gonna die is adrenaline awesomeness rather than a boring no drama porsche 911 that looks like a VW beetle.
2
Geez, what happened to all the fun sports cars reviews??? The last month of reviews have been nothing but clumsy mommy mobile SUVs. We're gonna start unsubscribing if this keeps up.
2
Excellent review for pointing out that the stickshift version causes the elbow to hit the center armrest. No, I don't want to keep the lid open because the lid will eventually fall down and get in the way of my elbow again. I see this same problem with Mustang manual transmission but very few reviewers point this out. Thank you.
2
I'd get #1 choice: Corvette C8, #2 choice: Corvette C7 with manual transmission for the ultimate fun.
2
I love it. Only thing missing is Apple Carplay! And I agree with you, I prefer a larger front grille and connected rear lights like the gas version. Last year I got my wife the 2024 Cadillac XT4 (tradedin a 2004 Toyota Highlander). I have a bought new red 2017 Corvette with stickshift
2
Yep, I had way more fun in a $12k Ford Fiesta ST stickshift than I did in a boring $130k Porsche 911 Carrera S with PDK (automatic).
2
From 0 mph, it has the worst lag, around 3 seconds of any turbo I've driven.
2
I'm keeping my C7 manual transmission for 3 pedal engagement fun (and all 4 limbs moving) when I get a C8. It’s great for dropping several gears on the highway and making a quick pass.

dad car

Beautiful car but no Apple Carplay.
1
Hopefully there will be a plug-in hybrid version in the future like the Toyota Rav4, which would accelerate 2 seconds faster to 60mph.

Yes, a MANual transmission for more fun!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think the Mercedes front looks way better than the Hyundai in which the grille is just WAY TOO BIG and ugly like Lexus.

Why would anyone want a kill the engagement fun of a girlie automatic DCT? Manual is 10 times more fun.
1
@Kee_Didnt jealous of Lambo I see...
1
@mrwebdancer With a GT3, you also get half the exhaust note enjoyment and perception of more speed with a convertible.
