lol, in the late 1980s my dad tried to teach me a manual transmission in a VW camper like the one in this video. That stickshift was the worst ever and that made me never want to own a stickshift. Then my friend showed me how much better a manual transmission is in his Honda Accord, I loved it so much that I bought a 1988 Honda Prelude in stickshift. Sadly, I gave up my stickshift for 25 years because I got married and had kids so it was a life of sedan dad cars, minivans, and SUV. In 2017 when my son could finally drive I gave him my old car, then I bought for myself a 2017 Corvette Stingray in a manual transmission at 48 years old (luckily before I got a heart attack a year later at 49). I'm 50 now and I enjoy my 2017 Corvette Stingray in a manual transmission every day commuting to work. My corvette: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4EGaccmS8E&t=5s

My head was hot under the giant glass roof.

I test drove it today. The interior and frameless doors are nice. BUT the deal killer was the 1-2 seconds turbo lag.

I bought a new 2019 Toyota Camry SE yesterday. I love the classic shifter as opposed to other manufacturers who get fancy with the automatic shifter and you have to learn where the P/R/N/D is located; Buttons in Honda are even worse because you can't shift by feel. I don't like Honda's turbo lag, high maintenance CVT, noisy interior, and stuckon iPad as the center console.

This is better than the new Supra but it's porky.

Ugly aftermarket afterthought iPad as the center console

Exhaust is still too timid. Suspension too bumpy. I went around a corner fast and I lost traction...not a good thing. Gearbox is not good; my foot was on the clutch and when I tried to put it into 3rd gear, I can feel and hear the gear trying to catch and it shouldn't do this until I release the clutch.

1. Mx-5 Club doesn't have rearview mirror with autodimming/homelink? This $33k car doesn't have it yet while other cars for $25k do. 2. Why no backup camera? Will be mandated in 2018. The Fiat 124 Abarth has it. 3. Soul red is a boring dark red color for sedans. Should be cherry red like the Fiat 124. 4. I would like to see the club model with side mirrors that have autodimming as this car is very low and I don't want every car's headlights in my eyes. 5. The ball on the manual shifter just screws on so it was pointing sideways in the car I test drove.

I bought a red 2017 Corvette 1LT manual transmission with performance exhaust, black wheels, red calipers, red seats, carbon badge package. Why? Because base Porsche Cayman ride was too stiff for me, no targa top (I didn't want the convertible's expense and replacement in a few years), not as much acceleration for the same $55k price, too low ground clearance for everyday use on public roads and shopping centers. I have no plans to track it.

with Fiat (no led headlights, apple carplay) and Mazda cutting corners (no homelink on club model, apple carplay), and Fiat dealers not ordering Fiat 124 Abarth with brembo brakes, I'm taking a closer look at a used PorscheCayman. Hopefully, Fiat fixed the problem that the Miata has with the canvas top rubbing the frame in the down position and ripping a hole.

Looks like a Honda Accord coupe: https://www.caranddriver.com/images/08q1/267367/2008-honda-accord-coupe-ex-l-v-6-photo-160767-s-original.jpg or a Toyota Camry coupe: https://s.aolcdn.com/dims-global/dims3/GLOB/legacy_thumbnail/788x525/quality/85/https://s.aolcdn.com/commerce/autodata/images/USB70TOC141A0102.jpg

Why does the gauge cluster show a picture of an SUV but this is a coupe? See 5:12 minutes.

That's fugly...so angular...looks like a 1980s Ford Mustang. https://media.motortopia.com/files/25946/vehicle/4c66b2231e713/Mustang_001.jpg

lol, the fake carbon fiber and fake grilles and fake exhaust.

wtf is going on with that giant rear bumper... it's as big and ugly as Lexus SUV's ginormous front grille.

Needs a sunroof.

@autogefuehl Actually it's for my senior high school son to enjoy, then next year he can take it to college. I prefer to enjoy my 2017 Corvette Stingray with a manual transmission. My Camry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUXuSdSwJIg My Corvette: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4EGaccmS8E&t=5s

Hate fake vents, just like fake tits (not so good) https://jalopnik.com/heres-every-fake-vent-on-the-2020-toyota-supra-1831804258 Guess what? It's a FAKE TOYOTA too!

I've just test driven the 2021 gas version and it stll accelerates well (I have a 2014 Toyota Highlander V6) but it also still has a lot of torque steer. Tires have become narrower (235mm wide) compared to my 2014 Toyota Highlander (245mm wide)

Still fugly

Worst suercharged lag at 2-3 before getting any power.

I like this Hyundai Kona EV, and I don't even like Tesla Model 3 awd that I test drove with its awful regenerative brakes. Although I like Nexo's dashboard way better than the Kona, it looks like a Mercedes E400 series two 12 inch screens; love the Nexo's center console. And I'm an owner of a 2017 Corvette with stickshift. And I NEVER thought highly of Hyundai/Kia nor would even ever consider owning one because of its 1980s poor reliability, safety, and poor people stigma.
