  2. I just bought the 2024 Cadillac XT4 on 9/14/2024. I upgraded from a 2014 Toyota Highlander to a 2024 Cadillac XT4(the 2024 highlander drove the same and is pretty much the same chasis and interior so it's boring). The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag). The Cadillac has these features that Youtubers miss: - lighted logo behind the dashboard - pulsating safety seat (most cars only beep) - left behind child in the rear seat alert - capless fuel tank (like my 2017 Corvette C7 ) - umbrella storage in the doors (like Rolls Royce) - active noise cancellation (like my 2017 Corvette C7 with Bose) - power passenger seat with lumbar - free 5G hotspot - stop/start feature is the smoothest I’ve ever experienced that I don't even notice it. My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.

The silhouette looks like the 2014 Toyota Highlander but with better lights using LED DRL and taillights.  However, the Honda Pilot's hood is old-school (looks less masculine) whereas other manufacturers are going with the newer clamshell style hood (looks masculine) like the Land Rover, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander.  What's the horsepower and torque and weight because these translate to 0-60 acceleration times? I'd like to see what its braking/stopping distance is because Hondas usually need more concrete to stop (so you end up rear-ending other drivers) than other manufacturers.  For example, Edmunds rates 2015 Toyota Highlander stopping as "very good" at 116 ft (http://www.edmunds.com/toyota/highlander/2015/?tab-id=reviews-tab) whereas 2015 Honda Pilot stopping is rated "poor" at 130 ft (http://www.edmunds.com/honda/pilot/2015/?tab-id=reviews-tab).  Not getting rear-ended by others is important to me because I see a lot of pickups and Honda Civic rear-ending other cars.

  9. i haven’t owned a honda since my 1988 honda prelude. todays hondas are ugly, noisy, has big turbo lag, long braking, weak ac. i just traded in my 2014 Toyota highlander for a 2024 Cadillac XT4….love it! my other car is a 2017 Corvette with stickshift, 2019 toyota camry SE, 2016 VW jetta

  14. I've just test driven the 2021 gas version and it stll accelerates well (I have a 2014 Toyota Highlander V6) but it also still has a lot of torque steer. Tires have become narrower (235mm wide) compared to my 2014 Toyota Highlander (245mm wide)

  28. I test drove the LC 500 today and I can tell you that for $100k and 4 seats, I was NOT impressed. Why? 1) Poor resale value 2) No sunroof 3) I hate the Lexus computer Automatic Trans shifter because it physically does not move. Also to park, you have to visually find the P button in the console. Then to put it into drive, I can't feel the D, I have to visually see on the dash that I moved it into P and it's a weird movement in which I have to move the lever left then move it down. 4) No Apple Carplay. 5) If you're gonna have 4 seats, my head should not be hitting the back window. 6) Weird that there's 2 color stitching 7) Cupholder with a water bottle blocks a/c controls 8) Radar detector cord must be long and drag all the way back to the cigarette jack in the center console, just in front of the back seats. 9) No flat bottom steering wheel
