Yep, I bought a new 2024 Cadillac XT4 in 9/2024, after test driving Porsche Macan S, BMW X3, Mercedes GLC300.
I upgraded from my 2014 Toyota Highlander to 2024 Cadillac XT4 and it's awesome.

The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag).
Cadillac's turbo kicks on early at 1500 rpm producing 258 lbs torque.
PRO:
- Distinctive Cadillac vertical lights in front and rear reminiscent of 1950s Cadillac fins
- Lighted Cadillac logo behind the dashboard is reminiscent of the lighted Apple logo on Macbooks
- Easiest to get in and out of the car (Cadillac seat height is slightly lower than my 2014 Toyota Highlander suv, and higher than my 2019 Toyota Camry sedan).
- Excellent reliability (no hybrid complexity for more things to break).
Motor Trend ranks the 2024 Cadillac XT4 as #1: https://www.motortrend.com/features/most-reliable-luxury-suvs/
JD Powers ranks the Cadillac XT4 better than Honda CRV (https://compare.lithia.com/comparison/250938)
Top Speed ranks Cadillac XT4 as #1: https://www.topspeed.com/cadillacs-ranked-reliability/
- BIG curved 33 in screen, same as in the $80k Cadillac Lyriq EV.
- The Cadillac has no torque steer (which is a good thing) whereas my 2014 Toyota had tons of torque steer (bad).
- Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto
- Roomy at 74 in car width, 57 in shoulder, and the 33 in widescreen makes it feel even more spacious
- stops 60-0 in 109 ft is sport sedan territory
- Remote start to cool or heat the interior before getting inside
- Standard emergency auto brake assist frontal/pedestrian and backing up/rear crosstraffic
- Safer driving with physical buttons/knobs for climate control, windows, entertainment system, cruise control.
- Standard blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert
- Standard auto high beam headlights
- Feels agile because it weighs 3693 pounds for an SUV
- Small turning circle for U-turns
- Long warranty and free 1st service
- Wide rear fenders
- No range anxiety like an EV, no hassle of plugging/unplugging daily like an EV
The Cadillac has these features that Youtubers miss:
- Lighted logo behind the dashboard
- Pulsating safety seat (most cars only beep)
- Left behind child in the rear seat alert
- Capless fuel tank (like my 2017 Corvette C7 )
- Umbrella storage in the doors (like Rolls Royce)
- Active noise cancellation (like my 2017 Corvette C7 with Bose)
- Power passenger seat with lumbar
- Free 5G hotspot
- Auto engine stop/start is the smoothest I’ve ever experienced that I don't even notice it.
- The rear wiper on the liftgate is mounted on top of the glass for a clean look and is very easy to clean the window without getting snagged by the wipers if they were mounted at the bottom of the window like most SUVs.
CON:
- No spare tire and toolkit, it's a $350 option
