Don't get me wrong, I've bought new Japanese for 30 years. 2 years ago, I wanted something fun with power and exhaust note so I got a Corvette compared to the timid Lexus LC500.

  8. No, I test drove it and it's turbo laggy and it has a noisy interior... deal killers. Aesthetically, I don't like the stuck on iPad as the center console although that's not a deal killer.

  9. Yes it's crappy. It's slower than my 10 year old 2008 Scion xB that I gave my son which goes 0-60mph in 7.7 seconds and no turbo lag versus the Lexus at 8.9 seconds (I can't remember owning any car that slow since the late 1980s. slower than my 20 year old 1988 Honda Prelude manual transmission did it in 8.5 seconds.) Wish there was an option for a bigger engine. CVT transmission=deal killer for me. UX stands for UNDERPOWERED explorer.

  10. Nice review. My new 2024 Cadillac is my 1st luxury brand after test driving Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Lexus. I'd rather keep the $500k difference in the stock market so it keeps growing at +15% a year. Apple, Microsoft, Wells Fargo

  13. Yes but who wants a car with 100k miles and problems that go with it? I'm hunting for a 2 year old with <24k miles around $50k but they tend to go for $60k. I'd probably just cough up the extra $10k and not get a fucked up $50k one.

  25. In 9/2024 I bought a new Cadillac XT4 to replace my wife's 10 year old Toyota Highlader... love the Cadillac XT4, and it has APPLE CARPLAY. Next time I upgrade my car, 2017 Corvette stickshift, it MUST HAVE APPLE CARPLAY or it's no sale (just like back in 2017 when Lexus did not have APPLE CARPLAY so it was a nosale for me).

  26. I love the 2019 Lexus ES350 BUT it's slow 0-60mph in 6.6 seconds. Even the Toyota Camry's same engine gets going in 5.8 seconds.

  27. I test drove it and it had terrible TURBO LAG, which felt like 2 seconds before any power arrived; nice interior though. BMW X3 finally looks nice externally and it had the least turbo lag, which felt like 1/2 seconds before the power arrived.

  28. Love it except the ugly front headlights (looks like the Corvette C6 or Mazda mx5 or Tesla roadster2) and ugly Volvo taillights. They should have made the Vantage look exactly like the DB10... why fuck up perfection? Front grille is too big, looks like it's competing with Lexus spindle grille for who has the largest and ugliest grille.

  29. PROS: Nice shape. Nice interior. Quick 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds CONS: poor braking 60-0mph in 114 ft. My 2017 Corvette Stingray stops in 90 ft. It chops your head off when you close the door.

  30. Yep, I got the 2024 Cadillac XT4 and got the $1500 leather seats upgrade...worth it because it'll last longer whereas the fake stuff will tear in a few years. Yep, my 2024 Cadillac XT4 (0-60 in 7 sec) is quicker than my 2014 Toyota Highlander (0-60 in 7.6 sec) that I traded in. XT4 also handles better too. I upgraded from a 2014 Toyota Highlander to a 2024 Cadillac XT4 and it's awesome looking with the distinctive Cadillac vertical DRLs (the 2024 highlander drove the same and is pretty much the same chassis and interior so it's boring), new modern fascia and center mounted backup lights, and 33 wide screen. The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel.
