  1. ;;;Tesla sells nothing that competes with Rivian; they have no pickup truck and the Model X is an obscenely expensive minivan with ZERO off-road ability. The Rivian R1S is a real SUV with serious off-road chops. Rivian has backers with an endless supply of money; Ford for expertise in building tough trucks and SUVs, and a real factory that they didn't have to build from scratch. This is a no brainer long term play. .Unlike Tesla, Rivian's customers can get the $7500 federal tax credit. GO RIVIAN!
