  1. We're spending way less, my credit card bill is 1/2 in the last 2 months. I've cancelled summer vacation and the airline gave me a credit. Kid starts college in late August so money is directed at that too (tuition, books, dorm stuff, oncampus parking). My colleagues and I fear getting a layoff so we're not spending.
